Anyone know anything about Boston Massacre victim, James Caldwell? He is described in accounts of the event only as "a member of Captain Morgan's vessel," and was apparently a stranger to Boston. John Adams, defending the British troops at trial, referred to Caldwell as a "Jack Tarr" (apparently a common derogatory reference to drunken sailors in that day). Any ideas on how to track down "Captain Morgan's vessel" in Boston at that time?
