Thanks Tom
As usual burning the midnight oil I made some errors/ommissions.David de More's son, Sir Reginald Mure (died 1367) was Lord High Chamberlain(1319) and married Ann Graham of Eskdale & Abercorn. Their second son Gilchrist of Cowdams (Coodham) married the Heiress of Caldwell and died 1399. I have conflicting results on the first to use the title "of Caldwell" One source i.e. The Moore family tree doesn't show it until two generations later Gilchrist/Godfrey then John of Caldwell 1409. The other source The Statistical Account of Ayrshire by Ministers of the respective Parishes published 1800s by William Blackwood & sons Edinburgh states Gilchrist second son of Sir Reginald, aquired the Estate of Caldwell by marrying the Heiress of Caldwell of that Ilk. His son John is the first of the name who appears designed "of Caldwell"in 1409.!!! This doesn't fit with the time span also Gilchrist doesn't have a son John in the tree, only Wiliam Earl of Abercorn, Gilchrist of Cowdams, Reginald(who was one of the hostages given in the release of King David 2nd) and Alicia who married 1st Sir William de Herch of Seneglie?Serreglie and 2nd Sir John Stewart of Ralston, half brother of King Robert 2nd.
