I just haven't met a lot of Caldwells from Wales.

: I didn't say there were no Caldwell's in Wales - we were
: there. Just that they did not seem very common there
: and our family didn't meet any. But we were not
: particularly seeking them out.
: For that matter I don't suppose a lot of Scots found
: their way into South Wales most migration paths would
: have been into Lancashire, possibly some in North
: Wales but heading through Derbyshire and eventually to
: London where the money was. "Funnily" (bad
: word) enough they were probably following the route of
: invading bands of yore.
