I want to wear a shirt with a tartan plaid of the Caldwell clan. I have not found any site that offers for sale tartan shirts (apart from Pendelton), much less Caldwell clan tartans. I concluded that perhaps I could buy several yards, and try making one, or having one made to order, perhaps at a custom shirt store. At the House of Tartan website, I was shown various plaids for the Strathclyde region as appropriate for the Caldwell surname, but I did not like the selection. Using google search engine, I typed in the key words caldwell and tartan and saw listed . At that site, here is an illustration of a Paisley tartan plaid that the author recommends be used as the Caldwell tartan. The author reasoned that a lot of Caldwells had lived near Paisley. I rather liked his selection. If you think there is a better choice for the tartan, please tell me about it.
