Levi Coffin was born in 1798. In 1813, he would have been age 15, the age at which Barbara understands he met with a "Dr. David Caldwell" on the Caldwell Farm. I think it is important to remember that the Rev. David Caldwell would have been about age 89 in 1813. The reverend had a son, David Caldwell, who was then a practicing physician .
