DOUG: At first I wondered about the age thing too....then learned that David Caldwell (Sr.) lived to be a very old age...I think 98 or so and thus at 89 he would have still been on the farm....incidentally, in the story he (the Caldwell) mentions his son "Thomas"....I am dashing off on vacation...but when I return, I will try to send the exact information as found in the book...if I can't scan ( I have a scanner but have not learned how to use it yet) I will at least note the page numbers and try to type as much of it as I can and not drive y'all crazy with this!
