Sorry I've fallen behind a bit, I've been busy Curling (with Granite stones, not hair) With regards to the farm of "Muirhouse" (locally pronounced "Murris") near Crosshouse village. I think we have to remember that much of Scotland was moorland at one time so we have to be carefull and not assume instant conection to the "Mures/Mores".
