These are some farms mainly south of the Irvine River that seem to have been associated with the Caldwell family. Fairlie House used to be Corsbie House a seat of the Fullarton's. Ellerslie is a possible birthplace of William Wallace. Dundonald Castle was the proncipal seat of the Stewarts and became their Royal Castle once they became Kings.
