Litchfield Cathedral (new myth)
By:Tom Caldwell
Date: 11:12 1/17/02

When I first saw a picture of Litchfield cathedral the hair on my neck stood up - quiet eerily. Litchfield Cathedral has three equal sized spires! St Chad's well is located at the Cathedral. Could this be the origin of the Scottish Caldwell Crest? - Water - (spires = piles) - Caud(s)well. Coldwell, Chadwell, Caldwell - whatever.

The FitzAllan's came from Shropshire - not too far from Litchfield. The de Morville's supposedly came from Huntingdon but the only Morville I can find is also in Shropshire between Brignorth and Much Wenlock.
