Hi, I have been doing genealogy for a total of about 6 months now, in between working and taking care of a new baby, so time is not easy to come by. I have read alot of the messages that have been posted here, and I have to say I am very impressed with the information that is given, however, it does somewhat discourage me because I am still at the point of discovering who the first 4 generations are, let alone anything past that.
However, i am going to venture out and ask if anyone has information on the following line of Caldwell:

Arthur Caldwell DOB 28 Oct 1906
George Wilding Caldwell DOB 25 Jan 1875
Matthew Caldwell DOB 11 Jun 1822; he had several wives, and we are related through Nancy Maria(h) Lane.

and then, after that, things get confusing.
