Okay, I'll see if I can't get the software installed for a "Best Of" section by mid next week. What we'll need to come up with to start is a list of categories. Take a look at the script I'll be installing at venicebeach.com/news. I'll add the link below, and PC users can right click the link and select "Open in new window" so taht you can toggle between windows if you want.

Notice on the venicebeach news site (hasn't been updated in about forever) that there is a topic (category) followed by a "more...."

You'll notice that the "more" prints the entire story of every article under that section. Because there is so much data that we want to add, what I'll do is set up the "more" page so that it shows title and the first paragraph or it will take dial up viewers forever to load.

I'll remove the post dates as what we have is really timeless and that might be a distraction.

Then on the "main page" of the Best Of section, it will list the most recent additions under each section or topic.

The "poster" interface is all Web-based to make it easy to paste data in.

Maybe David can see if we can reprint Marylin Janda's newsletter, too. I think that would be great information to have. We can add pictures to it, or just about anything that you guys want to see, so put your thinking caps on....

And while I'm here, all of you regulars can click on the "Create a Profile" link and tell us all about yourself and even add a pic so we can all see who we're talking to - and family similarities, of course.
