Hey Tom, The "Library" will be the big in-depth detailed posts, then discussion on those topics can be discussed on this forum. Now, to really get cool in the family lines - to make them readily available and easy to find - the best way would be to put up a "tree" sort of page like I have here on one of the free pages that I give away here (Free Caldwell Pages link). I've had to set the sign up to be approved, because I was having problems with porn spammers, and this way is easier to keep them out. You won't get your password instantly, so plan ahead. Anway, most genealogy programs these days will generate a Web page from a gedcom or paf file. From there it's a simple on-screen upload from your computer, and your page is up. But that's not the cool part.... The cool part is adding that page to the Caldwell Web Ring. By clicking the Member Sites link in the Web Ring section, you'll find a listing of Caldwell sites, most with an area or family description. And this ain't no rinky-dink Web Ring, either. Nope, it uses the same software that the "big guys" (like Yahoo) use, It's really not hard, and actually kind of fun to do. Not only that, but you've all got me around to help. The link below is a sneak peek of the Library. The "more" links don't work, so don't waste you time or create error messages on the server. Messages In This Thread
