My fourth Great Grandmother, Mary Stephenson, married a Robert Caldwell, who was born on 1 Aug 1747, in Philadelphia PA. They married on 7 Dec 1773 in York County, PA. He died 26 July 1836 in Dixie, Callaway, Missouri.
I show his father as Alexander Caldwell, born in 1723, in Lake Yon, Loung Neagh, Northern Ireland. His mother is shown as Mary Cauuldwell / Colwell.
I also show his grandfather as John Caldwell and Ann French Trench. However, when I looked at your website John and Ann do not show an Alexander as a son…
I also checked to see if you had a Mary Stephenson in your list of names… Or a Mary Cauldwell / Colwell. No luck.
Do you have any ideas for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Cathy, I don’t see any source notes at the moment for the children of John m. Mary Holmes, but I believe they are widely accepted. John m. Mary Holmes’s son, William (m. Elizabeth Porter) was father to John m. Ann Trench. I can’t confirm what I have is complete nor can I attest to its accuracy beyond what is currently openly known.
