This site is dedicated to all Caldwells who honor and respect the name and its history — to the researchers, past and present, whose work we build on — and to future generations who we hope will carry it forward with honesty and pride.
Update – June 2025
We’re excited to welcome Cameron Lee Caldwell as a new Co-Administrator of the Caldwell Genealogy Team. Cameron is active, curious, and has spent the past year digging into his family history. Using DNA testing, historical records, and help from outside sources, he confirmed his lineage.
Cameron’s 8th great-grandfather is John Caldwell of Cub Creek (1682–1750), and his 11th great-grandparents are John Caldwell and Mary Swetenham. His roots connect back to both Castle Caldwell and the Cub Creek Settlement (Caldwell Fields). Over the past several months, he’s become deeply involved in learning and preserving his family’s story.
He has access to books, articles, photos, and records tied to his branch of the family and is looking forward to connecting with other Caldwells to share and exchange history.
