Later called Barbara Ella - Later known as Ella.

Lucy Stotts wrote to Ella in May of 1935 and received a nice letter in return telling her about Ella and other members of her mother's (Nancy Fisher) family. Mildred (Fisher) Dean had sent Lucy word that Ella had passed away that same summer.

A letter dated 23 Dec, 1937 from Ella's son, Winfred G. Armstrong and his wife, Julia, said, "Her husband called her Barbara, but in her father's (Joseph Fisher) Bible her name is recorded as Barbara Elin."

This family Bible was in the possession of Winfred G. Armstrong in 1937. Winfred and Julia sent her name as Barbara Ella. Julia said that Ella had a picture of Nicholas Caldwell's farm home in Iowa done in pen, or so Julia thought. It was framed in and old fashioned frame and Ella prized it highly. Note: That same sketch was in an old History book of Iowa and Wayne County.
