Charles Lester Vanderbeek, run an Implement Business in Alcester for the International Harvester Co., and also runs a service station, and sells Plymouth and Chrysler Cars. Fay works in the office as his bookkeeper and stenographer. He owns the building in which his business is located and also their home which is the first place south of their shop. Their shop faces the north and their home is around the corner south and faces the East. They went to California a short time after Fay was born and stayed a few months, then when she was six and her sister two they went again and lived there for five years, returning to Alcester in 1929. In 1934 they spent the summer months until October in California, but they have been in Alcester since. [LLC]
