Samuel CALDWELL, b. 1708, County Donegal, No. Ireland, son of William M. CALDWELL, b.
1662, and Elizabeth PORTER. Samuel married Nancy Elizabeth BUCHANAN, b. 1710, County
Donegal, NI in 1728/29. They had at least one child in No. Ireland, named Hugh, b. 1730. The
family came to America in the 1730's and settled in Martic Twp. (Chestnut Level), Lancaster Co.,
PA. Does anyone know if Samuel and Nancy Elizabeth had additional children. I am looking for a
Nancy CALDWELL (b. ca 1730), who married Capt. John REED, also of Martic Twp.
