Johanna Bergstrom Died Monday

Mrs. Johanna Bergstrom passed away at her home in this city, November 8th at the age of 81 years. The elderly lady had been ailing since the early part of the summer but was not seriously ill or bed fast until a week before her death.

She was unconscious for two days which was caused by high blood pressure and other heart trouble along with weakness of old age.

Johanna Bergstrom was born in Sweden, October 15, 1845. On the 25th of March 1869 she was united to J.O. Bergstrom. In the fall of '69 this couple came to America settling near Moingona. From there they moved to a farm south east of Ogden where they lived until fifteen years ago when they moved to Ogden. Mr. Bergstrom preceded his wife in death having died two years ago.

The this union seven children were born three of whom are living, Henry of Missoula, Mont., Manuel of Imverness, Mont. ant [sic] Mrs. C.H. Anderson of this city.

Her children as well as other near relatives, Mrs. Gust Bergstrom and family, Mrs. L.J. Schmidt of Grove City, Minn. and Mrs. Phillip Bergstrom and children were with her during her last illness.

In addition to these near relatives there are fifteen grand children and many others to mourn their loss of this kindly lady and good mother.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon from the Swede Valley Lutheran Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Wm. Eldien in charge. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
